Use the scale
The scale lets you select a weight within the configured range. When the confirmed weight reaches the threshold, Fat mode activates on compatible clothing; below it, the appearance returns to Normal.
Open the interface
- Use
/fatweight. - Use
/fatdecal ui, an alias that opens the same interface. - Approach an enabled station and press its configured key, E by default.
Commands require authorization according to Config.Commands.access. Stations also check their own authorization and location. If no station is enabled, use a command.
Adjust and apply weight
Drag the weight control or use the decrease/increase buttons. The buttons request an approximate change of 1 kg or 1 lb, depending on the selected unit, and the value is rounded to the configured grid; each press does not necessarily advance by one stepKg. The slider follows the configured step.
Changes are sent as you adjust the value, and the interface shows the request status. You can also press Apply Weight or Enter to confirm the current selection. The server validates the effective change. If it fails, the interface shows an error and lets you retry.
Change units and read status
The KG and LB buttons change the displayed unit. LB does not change the stored value or storage unit: the server receives and keeps kilograms.
The indicator shows Normal or Fat according to the confirmed weight. While waiting for a response, the interface says the change is in progress; a successful response confirms the applied value. A rejection or synchronization failure appears as not applied or offers a retry.
Close and reopen
Press Esc or the X button to close. Before closing, the interface also tries to apply the last pending adjustment. Closing releases mouse focus; it does not revert a confirmed change or turn off Fat.
The interface may close automatically if the character dies, enters a vehicle, or moves away from the station. If the interface session expires, reopen the scale before changing weight.
To enable or disable the Fat appearance with commands, /fatdecal on sets weight at or above the threshold, and /fatdecal off sets it at most one step below. Both change weight; neither is a separate visual toggle. /fatdecal status only checks status.
Quick in-game check
- With an authorized freemode character, open
/fatweight. - Try a value one step below the threshold and another equal to the threshold. The threshold is inclusive.
- Switch between KG and LB to check the display.
- Close with Esc, reopen, and check that confirmed weight persists according to the persistence mode.
- At an enabled station, check the assigned key and that the interface closes when you move away.
